Save Happy Valley Campaign
Happy Valley is a beautiful area of native bush, fragile wetlands and a thriving ecosystem of native birds and animals located on the West Coast of New Zealand, just North East of Westport. It is home to many threatened species including the Great Spotted Kiwi and the large native Patrickensis land snail.... and it is under attack from state-owned enterprise Solid Energy!
Solid Energy has been pushing very aggressively to destroy Happy Valley with an open-cast coal mine and have just recently cleared the neccessary legal hurdles.

The Education of The Little Tree: Forrest Carrter
This book is fantastic. I finished this story of a little cherokee boy just recently and reading this book should be compulsory.
The Egyptian: Mika Waltari
Reading this book gave me lot of ideas about travelling. This is a story of egyptian doctor traveling through Syria, Crete, Babylon etc. at the time of Pharaohs.
The Man Who Planted Trees
Have you ever though about planting trees? No? You have to read this book. Another great story.
The Tibetan Book of Living and Dying : Sogyal Rinpoche
I actually haven't finished this book yet but the few chapters I have read are full of truth and inspiration.
